We’re just days away from Clockstock! Being that this is the inaugural edition of the event and since we’re hosting in a unique venue, please see below for some pointers on how to most thoroughly enjoy yourselves!

Weather

It looks like we’ll be blessed with a near perfect day, with highs in the mid-70’s. It will still feel warm and there is not an abundance of shade, so wide-brim hats, umbrellas, and sunscreen are encouraged. We will have sunscreen on-site as well. The evening will be coolish, so plan to layer up.

Seating

The venue is an open field, so please bring blankets, lawn chairs, stools, or anything else that you’d like to perch on. Closed toe shoes or boots are highly recommended.

Food

We will have a BBQ dinner served around 5:30pm. There will be plenty of snacks beforehand, and maybe even some late night treats for the dance floor. There will not be substantial food before the music starts at 2, so we recommend you come fed.

Water

We will have potable water on-site. Feel free to bring a Nalgene or similar, obviously solo cups will work for hydration as well.

Directions

Most people will be approaching on Shenandoah Rd./E-16. Turn left on Steiner Rd., just past Helwig winery. Continue on Steiner Rd. for roughly a third of a mile, and turn left at the second driveway (just past the community cemetery, and right before the elbow in the road). The gate will be marked with a large “Gate B” sign. If you reach Rombauer Winery, you have gone too far.

Noise

We are planning on having music through most of the evening, and the area for camping and trailers is not terribly far from the stage. If you’re a light sleeper with an earlier bedtime, earplugs and white noise are your friends.

The Wilds

It’s a mosquito season for the record books, so bug spray and long sleeves are your friend as it heads towards dusk. Or, just stand next to someone who is more full of blood than you are. Please be aware of poison oak, uneven ground, other critters and farm equipment. We have a lot of open space in which you can avoid all of these things, but if you go out of bounds, please be aware.

The Fun Stuff

This is a pretty open-format event, so if you have a favorite beverage, food item, Yeti cup, lawn game, or maybe just your stamp collection – please feel free to bring it. Just don’t bring your pet marmot.

Sunday

We’re planning on chillin’ and grillin’ on Sunday (camping-style), recapping the events of the evening and maybe even taking in a brunch-time DJ set. All comers welcome. Gin fizzes will be had.

Merch

We still have a small number of tanks and shirts for sale. We’ll have them at the event. If you want to reserve one beforehand, just let us know!
